“HIDDEN OR THOUGHTLESS” – A Story That Deserved to Be Told

HIDDEN OR THOUGHTLESS started as a school project — but the story behind it was too important to stay small.

Written by Eduarda Cardoso, who also co-directed the piece with me, the short is based on personal experiences and real situations that often go unheard. From the beginning, our goal wasn’t just to make a film — it was to give voice to the people and pain that so often get overlooked.

I had the privilege of helping bring Eduarda’s script to life — shaping the visual direction and guiding the story from page to screen with as much care and honesty as we could give it.

The film went on to receive recognition at two festivals:

• 🏆 Newark International Film Festival (Youth Category)

• 🏆 Grove Film Festival 2019

But more meaningful than the awards was the opportunity to remind others: you are not invisible. And you are not alone.
